E46 series BMW 3

1 Disconnect a level on a wing by means of a wide plastic shpatel.
2 Remove the lateral repeater of turn, address to the Section Replacement of filament lamps of external lighting.
3 Remove a headlight, address to the Section Removal and headlight installation.
4 Remove upward protection of an edge.
5 Mark paint the provision of the corresponding forward wheel concerning a nave. It will allow to establish at assembly an otbalansirovanny wheel in its former situation. Weaken bolts of fastening of a wheel at the car standing on the earth. Lift a forward part of the car, put it on supports and remove a forward wheel.

6 Remove a loker of a wing at a longitudinal beam. For this purpose take out a small screw-driver clips-1-and-2-. At first take out a pin from the clip center, and then take out a clip. The clip - 2-on an illustration is closed by a level.

7 Unscrew a nut-3-and a bolt-4-. Disconnect the bottom cover of an impellent compartment in a point-5-, address to the Section Removal and installation of the bottom cover of an impellent compartment.

8 Unscrew bolts of fastening-1-and remove a forward peak of an arch of a wheel-2-. Turn out an additional bolt in a forward part from below. On an illustration the bolt is not visible.

9 Unscrew bolts of fastening-4 - a loker of a wing-3-. Take out clips-5-, thus at first take out pins, and then clips.

10 Open a door and through a crack unscrew a fastening bolt (the shooter on an illustration) on a rack - And-.

11 Turn out three самореза in the length of 22 mm - 3-and one саморез in the length of 19 mm - 4-.

12 Turn out the top screws of fastening of Torx-2-of a wing-1-. 5–nuts from a sheet material.
13 Thanks to existence of a sheeting of the bottom the wing is reliably fixed. The hair dryer creating temperature not less 400°С is necessary for a detachment of a wing.
14 Establish the hair dryer with a flat nozzle in the top and back region of a wing and soften a sheeting. After that remove from below in a forward part of a prileganiye of a wing a sheeting. It is important for making in the specified place, otherwise at removal the wing can вспучиться.
15 Remove a wing.

16 Clear adjacent surfaces of a wing, if necessary will correct.
17 if necessary coat coated
18 In places of a prileganiye lay a usual sealing tape.
19 Establish a wing into place, will expose approximately and slightly fix bolts.
20 Will expose a wing, thus watch a uniform gap in relation to a door and a cowl, address to Specifications.
21 Tighten all bolts of fastening of a wing.
22 Put on an internal surface of a wing a sheeting.
23 Fix bolts a loker of a wing and a forward peak of an arch of a wheel. Insert clips and press aflush pins.
24 Establish into place a forward wheel so that the markings put at removal coincided. Previously grease with a thin layer of bearing greasing aligning belt of a disk of a wheel on a nave. Bolts of fastening of a wheel do not grease. Rusty bolts replace. Wrap bolts. Lower the car on wheels and tighten bolts cross-wise the moment of 100 N • m.
25 Put on from above an element of protection of edges.
26 Establish a headlight, address to the Section Removal and headlight installation.
27 Establish the lateral repeater of turn, address to the Section Replacement of filament lamps of external lighting.
28 Put on a wing a level.
