Replacement of impellent oil and oil filter

It will be necessary for work for you: - The tool for a vysasyvaniye of oil and capacity for collecting oil if oil is exhausted. - If oil merges: A viewing hole or the hydraulic garage lift with supports, and also a head for an otvorachivaniye of a stopper of a drain opening. - Petrol engine: The HAZET 2169 tool for an otvorachivaniye of a cover of the oil filter. - Capacity for collecting oil in volume not less than 7 l. Necessary operational materials/spare parts: - Depending on the engine from 4.0 to 6.5 l of impellent oil. It is necessary to apply only the oil resolved by BMW firm, address to Specifications. - A filtering element of the oil filter. - Only if oil is not sucked away: Aluminum laying for a stopper of a drain opening. The carving of a stopper has external diameter of 12 mm, laying has the A12 size x 15.5 and is sometimes delivered complete with the oil filter. - A sealing ring for the case of the oil filter and depending on execution one or two sealing rings for the central bolt. The same option of the engine can have two various executions of the filter. It is necessary to pay attention to it upon purchase of spare parts. Protect environment, at all do not pour out the fulfilled oil and do not delete it together with a household waste. Removal of impellent oil It is possible or to remove impellent oil through an opening of the shchupovy index of level, or to merge from the case pallet. The vysasyvaniye needs the special pump. Thus it is necessary to watch that the hose corresponded to a directing tube of the index of level. Devices for a vysasyvaniye can be available at filling stations. However thus, as a rule, it is necessary to buy oil at the same station. 1 Warm up oil to working temperature. For this purpose pass on the car so that the index of temperature of cooling liquid showed normal working temperature.

10 Clear a cover of the oil filter.

16 Insert into the case a new filtering element.
17 Replace rubber rings (with illustrations 6.15) on the central bolt and a cover. Grease new sealing rings with impellent oil. 18 Put directly from above a cover of the oil filter with an oil pipeline and press it. Thus the oil pipeline enters into the corresponding opening at the filter bottom. 19 Tighten a cover the moment of 25 N • m. System filling with oil 20 Screw a stopper of a drain opening with a new sealing ring and tighten densely but so that not to press. The inhaling moment for carving М12 (a key “17”) makes 25 N • m, for carving М22 – 60 N • m. 21 Fill in new oil through a jellied branch pipe of a cover of a head of cylinders. The volume of filled-in oil is specified in Specifications.
22 Start the engine and let's to it work on single turns until the control lamp will go out. Stop the engine. 23 Having waited for 5 mines, check level of oil and if necessary add oil. The difference between marks of level of Min and Max oil corresponds to volume of 1 l. 24 Close a zaslonka in a cover of an impellent compartment under the pallet of a case and turn a crosswise screw-driver a locking element on 1/4 turns, having fixed, thus, a zaslonka. 25 Pass on the car and check tightness of a drain stopper and the oil filter. If necessary carefully tighten. |
