E46 series BMW 3

1 Disconnect a reception pipe from a final collector, address to the Section Removal and installation of the inlet pipeline.
2 Unscrew two bolts of fastening of the pipeline for supply of air in a final collector.
3 Unscrew bolts of fastening and remove a final collector from a head of cylinders.

4 Clear sealing surfaces on a final collector and a head of cylinders. Sealing laying surely replace with the new.
5 Grease a carving of hairpins of fastening of a final collector with high-temperature copper greasing.
6 Fix a final collector new being self-stopped copper nuts, having tightened them cross-wise from within outside, the efforts given in Specifications.
7 Fix the pipeline of supply of air with new laying on a final collector.
8 Fix a reception pipe with new consolidation by the moment of 30 N • m on a final collector.

9 Remove filtering element of the air filter of the engine, address to the Section Replacement of a filtering element of the air filter.

10 Remove covers of bolts of fastening of a turbokompressor in points-1-. 11 Remove down the screen at a level-2-(an arrow on an illustration).

12 Unscrew bolts of fastening of a turbokompressor to a final collector through three openings.
13 Unscrew two bolts of fastening of the pipeline of a retsirkulyatsiya of the fulfilled gases from a final collector.
14 Unscrew nuts of fastening and remove a final collector from a head of cylinders.

15 Clear sealing surfaces on a final collector and a head of cylinders. Sealing laying surely replace with the new.
16 Grease a carving of hairpins of fastening of a final collector with high-temperature copper greasing.
17 Fix a final collector new being self-stopped copper nuts, having tightened them cross-wise from within outside, the efforts given in Specifications.
18 Fix the pipeline for supply of air with new laying on a final collector.
19 Fix a turbokompressor with new laying by the moment of 45 N • m to a final collector.

20 Insert sideways to a level-2-screen.

21 Put to the place of a cover of bolts of fastening of a turbokompressor to the case of the air filter.
22 Establish filtering element of the air filter of the engine, address to the Section Replacement of a filtering element of the air filter.

23 Remove an airmodular box, address to the Section Removal and installation of a box of an air inlet.
24 Remove oxygen sensors from both final collectors, address to the Section Removal and installation of the sensor of oxygen.
25 Unscrew nuts of fastening and remove a reception pipe from a final collector, address to the Section Removal and installation of system of release.

26 Raise the engine the crane for a forward eye. If the crane available is not present, pass a cable through an eye. Enter under a cable a strong pipe and put it on two support.

Establish the BMW 00 0 200 adaptation at the left and on the right on support of wings and fix them bolts. There is also other adaptation: KLANN No. KL-0205-3US.

27 Raise the engine the lift approximately on 5 mm to unload engine support.
28 Remove the amplifier of a forward part of the car, address to the Section Removal and installation of a beam of a forward suspension bracket.
29 Unscrew bolts of fastening of the right support of the engine with an arm from a body and the engine.
30 Disconnect at first forward, and then a back final collector from a head of cylinders.

31 Clear sealing surfaces on a final collector and a head of cylinders. Sealing laying surely replace with the new.
32 Grease a carving of hairpins of fastening of a final collector with high-temperature copper greasing.
33 Fix a final collector new being self-stopped copper nuts, having tightened them cross-wise from within outside, the efforts given in Specifications.
34 Fix a reception pipe with new consolidation by the moment of 30 N • m on a final collector.
35 Fix the right support of the engine and an arm, the efforts given in Specifications. Lower the engine, clean the crane.
36 Establish the amplifier of a forward part of the car, address to the Section Removal and installation of a beam of a forward suspension bracket.
37 Establish oxygen sensors on both final collectors, address to the Section Removal and installation of the sensor of oxygen.
38 Establish an airmodular box, address to the Section Removal and installation of a box of an air inlet.
39 Fix the bottom cover of an impellent compartment, address to the Section Removal and installation of the bottom cover of an impellent compartment.
