Removal and installation of nozzles

The damaged nozzles can lead to strong blows at operation of the engine, reminding operation of the engine with the damaged bearings. In the presence of the similar phenomena it is necessary to start the engine on single turns and in turn to weaken cap nuts of pipelines of a high pressure. If at an otvorachivaniye of any nut blows disappear, it indicates existence of defect of the corresponding nozzle. The nozzle by means of a manometer (work HUNDRED) is checked.

The damaged nozzles should be replaced, as their adjustment or repair are not possible.

First signs of malfunction of a nozzle following:

- Engine capacity falling;
- Excessively black exhaust gases;
- A dense dark blue smoke at cold start;
- High fuel consumption;
- Engine overheat;
- Knocks in one or several tsi-линдрах;
- Incomplete combustion.


1 Remove the inlet pipeline, address to the Section Removal and installation of the inlet pipeline.
2 Clear топливопроводы a high pressure a cold cleaner.

3 Remove топливопроводы a high pressure. For this purpose unscrew a cap key, for example, HAZET 4550 cap nuts at nozzles and TNVD.

Do not deform топливопроводы. Remove топливопроводы in a set.

4 Close openings protective caps or a film with elastic bands that dirt did not get to them.
5 Disconnect a cable going to a nozzle of the fourth cylinder.

6 Disconnect drainage hoses between nozzles by means of pincers.

Drainage hoses should be surely replaced.

7 Disconnect collars of fastening of nozzles-2-and take out nozzles.

If the nozzle is not taken out, it is possible to use a shock stripper. For its application it is necessary to make the special tool which is screwed on a nozzle.

The specified tool can be made as follows. Cut off an old nozzle at distance about 5 cm behind a cap nut. Solder firm solder nut М6 by the cut-off end of the pipeline.

Carefully clear the made tool. The dirt which has got to a nozzle can put it out of action!

8 Screw the tool on a nozzle and attach to the soldered nut a shock stripper. Pull out a nozzle.
9 Remove heat-shielding laying.


10 Surely establish new heat-shielding laying between a head of cylinders and a nozzle.
11 Insert a nozzle.

The nozzle with the sensor of moving of a needle is always inserted into the fourth, that is in the back cylinder. To recognize her it is possible on the attached cable.

12 Join a cable of the fourth nozzle.
13 Establish on nozzles tightening collars. Tighten nuts of fastening of collars the moment of 10 N • m.
14 Put on new drainage hoses between nozzles.
15 Fix топливопроводы a high pressure to nozzles and TNVD the moment of 25 N • m.
16 Establish the inlet pipeline, address to the Section Removal and installation of the inlet pipeline.
