Air removal from brake system

After carrying out repair of brake system as a result of which pipelines disappeared, air can get to system. In this case it is necessary to remove air. If air got into ABS hydrosystem, from reasons of safety to remove air follows on HUNDRED. It takes place in the presence of a leakage in the hydraulic block or if the tank of brake liquid appeared emptied or if at removal of air forgot to add in the tank liquid.

1 Remove a dustproof cap from the union for air removal. Clear the union, put on it a pure hose, other end of a hose lower in a bottle half filled with brake liquid. The corresponding hose and capacity are available on sale.

2 Ask the assistant to press a brake pedal so many time, how many it is necessary for creation in pressure system. It is felt on resistance of a pedal of a brake.
3 As soon as pressure is reached, press a pedal a foot and do not release it.
4 Unscrew on a half of turn the union for air removal by a cap key, for example HAZET I968-7 Following liquid collect in a bottle. Watch that the hose end constantly was in a bottle below liquid level. If the system is opened, it is appreciable by a pliability of a pedal of a brake.
5 As soon as pressure of liquid will start to fall, close the union.
6 Repeat process of a rating of system until in system pressure will not be created. Press a pedal of a brake and leave on it a foot. Open the union of removal of air. Open the union until pressure will start to fall. After that close the union.
7 Process of removal of air repeat until in the brake liquid arriving in capacity for pumping, there will be no air bubbles.
8 After completion of process of pumping remove a hose from the union and put on the union a protective cap.

In the course of air removal periodically watch the tank for brake liquid. Level of liquid should not go down essentially. Otherwise air can get to system. Add in system surely only new brake liquid!

9 Air from other supports is removed similarly.

10 After completion of process of removal of air in the tank it is necessary to add liquid to a mark "MOVE". Check a condition of sealing laying of-1-covers of the tank.

11 After air removal by pressing a brake pedal she should not leave system softly down. If it occurs, it is necessary to repeat process of removal of air once again.

— Whether brake hoses are fixed?
— Whether the brake hose in the holder is fixed?
— Whether unions for air removal are tightened?
— Whether enough of brake liquid is filled in?
— On the working engine check tightness. For this purpose press a brake pedal effort of 200-300 N (20-30 kg) during 10 pages. The pedal should not weaken. Check all accessions on tightness.

Brake liquid should not pour out or jump out with a household waste at all. Local authorities inform drivers on places of its possible utilization.
