Removal, installation and check of the relay of the fuel pump

Holder of the relay


1 — the relay of the fuel pump 2 — the relay of the fan of a heater	3 — the relay of fog lights 4 — the relay of a sound signal

The relay of the fuel pump is on the holder of the relay behind the block of safety locks. It supplies the fuel pump with an electric current. By means of the safety switch it interrupts supply of fuel when at the included ignition impulses of turns do not move, for example, when the engine decayed.

If for check of system of injection it is necessary to turn on the fuel pump at the idle engine, disconnect the relay and connect a short auxiliary cable of the plug 30 and 87b. Diameter of a wire should make 1.5 mm.

REMOVAL

1 Remove a ware box, address to the Section Removal and installation of the left ware box and Removal and installation of the right ware box.
2 Take out by means of a small screw-driver sideways a lamp of illumination and расстыкуйте I will corrode.

3 Unscrew screws (arrows on an illustration) and remove down a cover-1-. From a reverse side of a cover take out a wire of a lamp of illumination of a ware box.

4 Wring out a little back a cover-1-and take out from directing-2-. Disconnect brackets around-3-.

5 Unscrew the screw (the shooter on an illustration) and displace down the holder of the relay a little.

6 Remove the relay of the fuel pump-1-.

CHECK

For check of the relay of the fuel pump the storage battery should be charged.

7 Check a safety lock of system of injection. The arrangement of safety locks is shown on the scheme in the block of safety locks.

8 Take out the relay - 3-.Соедините a short auxiliary wire of the plug 30 and 87b (the diesel engine: plug 87). Thus do not damage sensitive contacts of the relay. If it is audible, as the fuel pump turns on, replace the relay.

9 If the pump does not work, check the wires going to the relay and the pump. If necessary replace.
10 Check the relay / the fuel pump.

INSTALLATION

11 Establish to the place of the relay.

12 Reject up the holder of the relay and fix the screw.

13 Insert a cover into the directing.

14 Lay a wire to a lamp of illumination of a prophetic box from a reverse side of the top cover. Fix a cover.

15 Attach a lamp of illumination and fix it.
16 Establish to the place of a ware box, address to the Sections Removal and installation of the left ware box and Removal and installation of the right ware box.
