Weaken bolts of fastening of a wheel at the car standing on the earth. Lift a forward part of the car, put it on supports and remove a forward wheel.

2 Take out a cable and a brake hose from the holder-1-on an amortization rack.

3 Unscrew bolts of fastening and remove a support with directing from a rotary fist and adhere a wire to a body, address to the Section Removal and installation directing a forward brake.

Brake hose do not disconnect. Otherwise at installation it is necessary to delete air from brake system.

4 Cars with xenon lamps: Remove a corner-1-angular hinges of adjustment of range of light from the cross-section lever-2-.

5 Unscrew a nut-1-kachatelny support-2-from an amortization rack. Thus hold a wrench - 3-for the planes of a pin of the hinge.

6 Unscrew a nut-1-and a tip of steering draft-2-from the rotary lever-3-, address to the Section Removal and installation of a tip of steering draft.

7 Unscrew a nut-1-and remove the hinge-2-from the rotary lever-3-a stripper, for example, HAZET 779-1.

8 Adhere the rotary lever a wire that it did not fall.

9 Unscrew on some turns a bolt-1-and remove the rotary lever-2-down from an amortization rack-3-.

10 If the rotary lever does not act in film (the bottom arrow), unclench shlitsa of the rotary lever and fix position of the tool. HUNDRED are applied to this purpose by the special BMW tool - 31 - 2-200 or KLANN KL-0101. Insert the tool into shlitsa and turn on a corner 90 °.

11 Prop up from below an amortization rack the garage lift that it did not fall at an otvorachivaniye of the top fastening.

12 Unscrew three nuts of fastening of-1-support of an amortization rack.

If in a support of an amortization rack there is no aligning pin-2-or the corresponding opening, it is possible to unscrew only one nut. Mark position of a carving finger in relation to a wheel arch that after installation to keep former disorder of wheels probably more precisely.

13 Take out an amortization rack from a wheel arch.

14 Carefully insert an amortization rack into a wheel arch. The aligning finger should enter into the corresponding opening of a support of a rack. Screw on fingers new nuts and tighten them the moment of 25 N • m.

If in a support of an amortization rack there is no aligning pin-2-or the corresponding opening, expose a rack according to the marking put at removal.

15 Put on a rotary fist-1-an amortization rack-2-so that the aligning pin-3-entered into shlitsa of a rotary fist.

16 Put on a fist a rack against the stop and tighten a bolt the moment of 80 N • m.
17 Insert the hinge into a rotary fist and fix a new nut the moment of 65 N • m.
18 Connect a tip of steering draft to a rotary fist and tighten a new nut the moment of 65 N • m.
19 Fix a kachatelny support a new being self-stopped nut the moment of 65 N • m on an amortization rack. Thus hold a wrench a hinge pin from a provorachivaniye.
20 Cars with xenon lamps: Establish a corner for adjustment of range of light on the cross-section lever.
21 Press a cable and a brake hose with rubber support in the holder.
22 Establish a support, address to the Section Removal and installation directing a forward brake.
23 Establish into place a forward wheel so that the markings put at removal coincided. Previously grease with a thin layer of bearing greasing aligning belt of a disk of a wheel on a nave. Bolts of fastening of a wheel do not grease. Rusty bolts replace. Wrap bolts. Lower the car on wheels and tighten bolts cross-wise the moment of 100 N • m.
