Check of level and oil replacement in RKPP

RKPP is filled with oil and does not demand its addition within carrying out maintenance. At carrying out maintenance it is necessary to check visually RKPP on tightness. At leakage of oil check its level and eliminate the reason.

1 Before replacement of RKPP oil it should be heated-up to palm temperature for what pass on the car of 15 minutes.

Operation of lifting and car installation on supports is connected with danger! Therefore before carrying out operation familiarize with Poddomkrachivaniye's Section and towage

2 Establish the car horizontally on supports and remove the bottom cover of an impellent compartment, address to the Section Removal and installation of the bottom cover of an impellent compartment.

3 Turn out a stopper for an oil-1-flood in RKPP. If an oil quantity, oil level in norm pours out, and the box is tight. Otherwise check a finger, whether reaches level of oil of the bottom edge of an opening.

In the presence of more considerable leakage of oil establish the reason and eliminate it.

4 Substitute under a box capacity. Turn out a drain stopper-2-and merge oil.

Points of sale of oil accept free of charge certain amount of the fulfilled oil. Therefore upon purchase of new oil keep the receipt and the canister for possibility of delivery of the fulfilled oil! Protect environment, at all do not pour out the fulfilled oil and do not delete it together with a household waste.

5 Screw a drain stopper the moment specified in Specifications.
6 Fill in oil in a box. The type and volume of oil is given in Specifications.

If near a stopper for filling of oil there is a yellow or green sticker, it is necessary to fill a box with BMW special oil if there is an orange sticker, it is necessary to fill a box with the ATF-Dexron oil resolved by BMW

Oil for transmissions has high viscosity therefore it is not necessary to fill in too much oil at once. Wait some time and substitute capacity for collecting surplus of oil

7 Tighten a stopper of a jellied mouth the moment specified in Specifications.
8 Lower the car on wheels. Establish the bottom cover of an impellent compartment.
