Replacement of safety locks

For protection of wires and consumers of electric devices electric chains are protected from short circuit and an overload by safety locks.

Safety locks settle down in the separate block of safety locks being over a ware box.

1 Before replacement of a safety lock it is necessary to switch off surely previously the corresponding consumer.

2 Open a ware box and turn both white clips (arrows on an illustration) outside. Down the block of safety locks thus is released and comes off. The scheme of an arrangement of safety locks is under a payment of safety locks.

3 Sign of the failed safety lock is the melted metal strip.

4 Take out the failed safety lock. For simplification of capture of a safety lock in the block there is a plastic clip. Put on a safety lock a clip, compress and take out a safety lock.

5 Insert a new safety lock on the same maximum current. Its value is specified on the plastic case of a safety lock. Besides, the case has color marking by which it is also possible to determine size of rated current. And - a melted wire (address to Specifications).

6 Take away the block of safety locks up and fix, for what turn white clips outside.

If the new safety lock through short time again burns down, it is necessary to check the corresponding chain of a current.

It is recommended to carry always with itself spare safety locks. By no means it is impossible to replace a safety lock with a wire or something similar as it can lead to heavy damages of electric devices.
