Contour of circulation of oil

Engines are supplied with so-called system of greasing under pressure. The oil pump soaks up through a grid impellent oil from the pallet of a case and submits it under pressure via the oil filter. On the party of pressure of the oil pump there is a reduktsionny valve. Via the central pipeline of the oil filter the filtered oil arrives to the main oil canal. At a contamination of the oil filter perepuskny the valve directs oil without its filtration directly to the main oil canal.

Behind the oil filter the reduktsionny valve is located. At pressure excess the valve opens, and the part of oil merges back in the case pallet.
From the main oil channel channels of greasing of bearings of a cranked shaft branch off. Via inclined channels in cranked to a shaft oil arrives to shatunny bearings. Cooling of the bottom of the piston is carried out through the nozzles submitting oil from below on the piston.

At the same time impellent oil arrives via vertical pipelines in a head of cylinders, supplying with oil camshaft bearings, jacks of klapanny gaps and directing valves. Resistance on plum provide guaranteed supply of oil for greasing of the specified elements in a head of cylinders. At 6-цилндрового the petrol engine oil via the valve moves also depending on requirement in the mechanism of adjustment of a camshaft.

Besides, oil moves to chains of a drive of GRM, and at the 6-cylinder engine the chain of a drive of the oil pump is greased.

Consumption of oil

At an internal combustion engine the consumption of oil is understood as amount of oil which is consumed owing to combustion process. At all it is not necessary to understand as it the consumption of oil connected with its leaks owing to a leakage through the pallet of a case, a cover of a head of cylinders etc.
The normal consumption of oil develops of combustion of a small amount of oil in cylinders, together with removal of the fulfilled gases, and wear. Besides, oil is lost as a result of influence of high temperature and the high pressure, arising in the engine. Loss of oil is affected also by service conditions as, for example, style of driving, and also admissions of manufacturing of elements of the engine. The consumption of oil should not be more 1.0L/1000 km.

At all it is not necessary to fill in oil above Max mark. If oil was poured, surplus is necessary for sucking away it. Otherwise the catalytic converter can be damaged by not burned down oil arriving in it.
